Central Florida took a Mid-Florida Conference women's basketball loss on Saturday, falling 53-49 at Hillsborough.
TiChina Mitchell scored 12 and Taylor Broadnax and Briana Gibson scored 11 apiece for CF.
With five games to play, the Lady Patriots (11-14, 2-5 MFC) remain in play for one of the conference's two allotted FCSAA State Tournament berths. Daytona State and Hillsborough retain the inside track in the MFC standings. CF hosts FSC-Jacksonville on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
