CF (6-3) beat the Titans for the second time of the young season after starting its current win streak with a win at St. Petersburg on Nov. 11.
The Patriots led by a single point at halftime, but put together a dizzying rally out of the locker room to take a double-digit lead just 5 minutes into the second half. The home team fought off repeated Titan responses with timely baskets and pulled away in earnest over the closing minutes.
Returning sophomore guard Brian Pace took the fore on offense as CF continues to turn to a different backcourt star nearly every night. Pace made 6 of 7 attempts, including both 3-pointers, in a brilliant first half that saw the Gainesville native score 15 points in 10 minutes. He finished with a game-high 20 points to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Christian Martinez scored 18 points and Alhaji Fullah added 10 to join Pace in double figures.
The Patriots enjoy a week off prior to hosting Rise Academy on Nov. 29 at 7:30 pm.
