Central Florida handled visiting Miami-Dade 56-46 on Friday, improving to 3-1 with its second double-digit victory over the Lady Sharks in the young season.
Freshman forward TiChina Mitchell paced the home team with 16 points while adding 7 rebounds. Sophomore Briana Gibson added 8 points and 8 rebounds, and guard Quinnecia Twine scored all 9 of her points on a trio of 3-pointers.
The Lady Patriots also beat Miami-Dade 64-42 Nov. 11 at Daytona Beach.
CF hosts Brevard at 6 pm Saturday.
