Vanessa Benke Named State Player of the Week

Patriots freshman Vanessa Benke has been named the FCSAA Player of the Week, the first-ever such honor for a CF volleyball student-athlete. 

From the press release: 

Benke contributed for the offense with 81 kills (4.05/game), 7 assists and 5.25 passes per game.  Defensively, she averaged 3.6 digs per game and added 15 blocks.  She has played in every match for the Lady Patriots and is a very consistent player with amazing ball control.  Benke has been named to the All Tournament Team at the Palm Beach State College, Florida College @ Jacksonville and Pasco-Hernando Community College tournaments.
