Starter Cody Lewis and reliever Kyle Moeder pitched well in defeat, as neither gave up an earned run. Lewis yielded 6 hits and struck out 9 over 5 2/3 innings, while 7 of the 8 outs Moeder recorded were of the strikeout variety. Christian Coburn and Yoenny Gonzalez had a pair of hits each for the Patriots offense.
