Seminole 4, CF Patriots 3; Seminole 12, CF 4 (Softball)

Central Florida's postseason softball hopes took a hit Tuesday with a sweep at Seminole by scores of 4-3 and 12-4.

Freshmen Jessica Lopez and Arika Fox continued their strong recent play with a pair of remarkable performances that spanned the length of the afternoon doubleheader. Lopez went 5-for-7 with a triple, 2 doubles, 4 runs scored and an RBI, while Fox went 5-for-6 with 2 triple, 3 runs and 2 RBI.

CF (14-31, 2-8 Mid-Florida Conference) visits MFC frontrunner Santa Fe on Saturday.
