The Central Florida women's basketball team slipped to .500 in the Mid-Florida Conference with a heartbreaking 55-54 loss at Daytona on Wednesday.
The setback keeps the Lady Patriots (13-11, 3-3 MFC) in third place in the conference standings, still in good position to earn one of the MFC's three playoff berths.
CF returns to action Saturday at 5:30 p.m. as it hosts Hillsborough.
