The Patriots built their lead as high as 37 points in a blistering first half, hitting 11 of 20 three-point attempts and shooting 59 percent from the field overall. Hiding among the offensive fireworks was an equally potent defense that held the Vikings to 31 percent shooting and just 25 points in the first half. The final tally for CF: 17-for-33 from deep, 55 percent shooting overall and the third 30-point win over an NJCAA opponent this season (joining December routs of Tallahassee and Hillsborough).

Slobodan Miljanic was the sharpest of CF shooters, hitting 6 of 12 three-point shots en route to a game-high 24 points while adding 10 rebounds. Several other Patriots enjoyed standout individual stat lines: Kevin Foster notched a double-double of his own with 15 points and 11 rebounds, A.J. Holland dished out 10 assists, and Hunter Williams scored 18 points.

The win over the second-place Vikings strengthens the Patriots' position atop the Mid-Florida Conference standings. CF (20-5, 6-1 MFC) is now two games clear of the pack with five conference games to play.

CF continues its quest to lock up a conference title on Wednesday at FSC-Jacksonville.
