Central Florida emerged from perhaps the Mid-Florida Conference's toughest road gym with a solid victory Saturday night, besting St. Johns River 78-59 in Palatka.
The win kept CF (17-4, 3-0 MFC) perfect in conference play at the quarter mark of the 12-game schedule. The Patriots will look to continue that trend Wednesday night at 8 p.m. as they host FSC-Jacksonville.
Slobodan Miljanic led the victors with 20 points, including 4 three-pointers. Kevin Foster scored 17, Hunter Williams added 13 and Alhaji Fullah contributed 10 to join Miljanic in double figures.
