The Central Florida women's basketball team fell to an even 1-1 in Mid-Florida Conference play Wednesday after a frustrating 68-45 loss to visiting Daytona State.
CF (11-9, 1-1 MFC) got 13 points from Moniqua Darby and 10 from Tiara Smith, but struggled to produce any sustained offense in its first home game of the eight-game MFC schedule.
The Lady Patriots return to action Saturday night at last-place Hillsborough, then host FSC-Jacksonville on Jan. 19.
