Four players reached double digits in points for CF (14-11, 4-3 Mid-Florida Conference). Quinnecia Twine had a game-high 14, Charo Fowler added 13 off the bench, Janay Borum scored 11 and Yasmeen Thompson posted 10 points alongside a game-high 15 rebounds.
The win moves the Lady Patriots a full 2 games ahead of 2-5 Hillsborough for third place in the MFC, significant because the teams with the three best records at the conclusion of the 12-game conference schedule will qualify for the postseason.
Next up for CF is a Wednesday visit to FSC-Jacksonville.
