Central Florida earned its second win of the three-game weekend on Saturday, handling Broward 74-66 on day two of the CF Shootout.
Lady Patriots returning sophomore Canvis Scott led all scorers with 19 points, shooting 8-for-10 from the field and 3-for-4 from the line in an efficient 21-minute effort. Point guard Janay Borum had 14 points and 6 assists and Moniqua Darby contributed 14 points and 6 rebounds.
CF (6-1), ranked fifth in the state and 20th in the nation, goes for the weekend sweep Sunday at 4 p.m. against Brevard.
