Player of the Year Andrew Jones Leads Patriot All-Conference Honorees

Central Florida sophomore Dru Jones has been named Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year, headlining a list of six Patriots honored in the MFC awards season.

Sophomore first baseman Hunter Smith joined Jones as a first-team all-conference honoree, while catcher Paul Karmeris, pitcher Kyle Bright, shortsop Bradley Goodson and outfielder Jordan Zech earned second-team honors.

Jones, a sophomore outfielder/catcher and Kent State signee, hit .432 with 14 home runs and 58 RBIs. The Ohio native is bound for Division I Kent State University in the fall.
