FCCAA No. 8 Polk State knocked off No. 4 Central Florida on Sunday at Winter Haven, posting a 6-4 victory over the Patriots. The win was revenge for CF's 12-0 rout on Feb. 4 at Ocala.
CF (13-7) hosts Pasco-Hernando on Monday at 2:30 p.m. The teams were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, but were rained out. The loss snapped a three-game Patriot winning streak.
