Central Florida dominated a crucial Mid-Florida Conference game on Wednesday, wrapping up the home portion of its regular-season schedule with a 72-55 victory over St. Johns River.
Ricardo Ratliffe had a game-high 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Josh Proctor scored 13 and Travis Johnson 11.
The victory keeps the Patriots (23-5, 5-1) on track for an epic showdown at Daytona State on Feb. 17, the final day of the regular season. If CF enters with one loss and Daytona comes in undefeated, the Patriots can force a neutral-site one-game playoff to decide the conference champion.
