The Lady Patriots improved to 2-1 in Mid-Florida Conference play Wednesday with a solid 83-70 road win over FSC-Jacksonville.
Central Florida exploited its deep reservoir of talent in the victory as six players scored between 11 and 18 points. Jamesha Willis was on the high end, followed by Tyeshia Battles with 17, Markeshia Grant with 14, Olivia Nino 12 and Amber Powe and Shaunte Forward 11 apiece. Grant added 12 assists and 5 steals in a standout all-around effort.
CF (16-7, 2-1) has won two consecutive conference games since its opening loss to Santa Fe. The Lady Patriots enjoy a week off before the rematch with their Gainesville rival Jan. 27 at Patriot Gym.
