Central Florida 123, Tagg Academy 94 (MBB)

The Patriots made quick work of a non-NJCAA opponent Wednesday night, blasting Tagg Academy 123-94. CF (15-4) got 32 points and 12 rebounds from Ricardo Ratliffe, 31 points from Justin Cecil and 26 from Josh Proctor. Overall, the Patriots shot 61 percent from the field and 12-for-23 from 3-point range, including a 7-for-8 effort from Cecil.

CF has three more games against non-NJCAA opponents before conference play starts, an unfortunate quirk of the schedule. The three other conferences start their conference schedules earlier than the Mid-Florida, leaving the Patriots without any willing non-conference FCCAA opponents to schedule as they await their Jan. 20 conference opener.
