Gulf Coast 91, Central Florida 70 (WBB)

Central Florida ran into a juggernaut of a women's basketball opponent Friday afternoon, falling to national No. 1 Gulf Coast 91-70 at Panama City. Markeshia Grant led CF with 25 points, Jamesha Willis had 15 and Olivia Nino added 13. The Lady Patriots are 11-5 overall and wrap up their Panhandle swing at 1-2, with a win over Chipola and losses at Tallahassee and Gulf Coast. CF visits Hillsborough on Tuesday to complete the 2009 portion of their schedule.
