Central Florida 105, Polk State 73 (MBB)

The Patriots got right back on the winning track after a pair of frustrating losses in the Panhandle, hammering Polk State 105-73 and improving to 9-3 on the season.

Ricardo Ratliffe scored 28 points to lead all scorers, but he was aided by an army of shooters knocking in shots at a blistering pace. The Patriots hit 9 of 17 from 3-point range in the first half in building a 63-41 lead, freeing up the lane for Ratliffe and negating some early defensive deficiencies.

Travis Johnson had 16 points, including 8-for-9 free throw shooting. Justin Cecil scored 16 and Darius Nesmith 13 off the bench, and Rahshon Tabb added 12.

CF now prepares for the JuCo Shootout, where it will face Manatee and Palm Beach.
