Patriots 84, Aiken Tech 64 (MBB)
National No. 1 Central Florida improved to 3-0 with an impressive win to wrap up its two-game South Carolina excursion. Ricardo Ratliffe led the team in scoring for the third time in as many games with 28 points, while fellow sophomore Justin Cecil continued his strong play with 21 points off the bench. Guard Kenny Williams broke into double digits with 11. The defense was particularly impressive, as the Patriots held the home team to 22 first-half points and coasted to the victory. Next up is the home opener, Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. against Hillsborough.
