NICEVILLE - Central Florida women's basketball opened its two-game stint in Northwest Florida State College's holiday weekend tournament Friday afternoon with a 70-59 defeat of Middle Georgia College. Markeshia Grant scored 26 and Tyeshia Battles 14 for the FCCAA No. 6 Lady Patriots (7-1). CF faces Brevard on Saturday.
